Your psychology is really important.

It influences how YOU think, feel and act.

Yet, too often we have not been shown psychology harmonious to our way of being and lifestyle.

As a result, many suffer in silence.

“Globally, an estimated 264 million people suffer from depression, with many of these people also suffering from anxiety”.

World Health Organization

“Almost half of all Australian adults will face mental ill-health during their lives”.

Whatever you’re going through is important. We respect that. It doesn’t matter what shape you’re in when you start your physical fitness training, so why should it matter when you try to build your mental fitness? Self-care is always important.

Yes, but how much depends on your cover.

If you have an MHTP from your GP, you’ll pay approx. $110 per session after Medicare rebates.

For Private Health cover, your out-of-pocket fees may vary depending on your plan - please contact your provider first to see whether you are covered for Psychology services.

We will process your rebate after your session.

Medicare can subsidise up to $129.55 for 50 mins session with a Clinical Psychologist, for up to 20 sessions each calendar year.

To access these rebates, a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP is required, which can be made by attending your GP.

You will need to be reviewed by your GP every 4-6 sessions for approval of additional sessions, as required by Medicare.

Your time is precious, so we will send SMS reminders to you 72 hours before your upcoming session. An email reminder will be sent 24 hours prior. If you wish to cancel, please contact us by phone, voicemail, or email at least 48 hours prior to your session to avoid any Cancellation fees (see our Cancellation policy below).

If you experience an unavoidable emergency, please call or email us at admin@biinu.com.au

We use a 48-hour cancellation policy to protect our time, so we can help as many people as we can.

If you cancel between within 48 hours of your session, you will be charged 50% of your fee. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged 100% of your fee.

These fees cannot be subsidised by Medicare or Private Health funds.

Psychologists use their know-how about thinking, behaviours, and emotions to help re-define people’s way of seeing themselves and interacting with the world using therapy.

Psychiatrists are Medical Doctors who specialise in human thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. They can prescribe medications, as some issues also have a physical or genetic contribution. Some Psychiatrists use therapy.

Life coaches help people with life goals but lack mental health training. Although accredited courses are available, the Life Coach profession is currently unregulated, which can impact service quality.
